Corona virus: 53 deaths in the country so far, 155 cured, Maharashtra most affected

The corona virus continues to wreak havoc in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with the Chief Ministers of all states through video conferencing to assess the situation related to Corona. At the same time, PM Modi will share a video message with the countrymen at nine o'clock tomorrow. Today, one person each died in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat and two in Madhya Pradesh from Corona. The most affected states in the country from Corona are Maharashtra (423), Tamil Nadu (309) and Kerala (286). According to Health Ministry data, 328 new cases have been reported since yesterday and 12 new deaths have been reported. The total number of corona-infected cases in the country has reached 2069. At the same time, there have been a total of 53 deaths in the country due to corona infection.


Three infected were found in Una, Himachal Pradesh. All these people participated in the Tablighi Jamaat program held in Nizamuddin, Delhi. According to the District Magistrate, all these people are from Mandi district but were staying in the mosque of Nakroh village. All are currently quarantined.

A case has been registered in Saharanpur against 57 foreign nationals who attended the Tablighi Jamaat program in Delhi. SSP Dinesh Kumar said that all these foreign nationals were residing here and they have now been separated, 20 people from Saharanpur also participated in the Jamaat program and all of them have been quarantined in Delhi.

Three people have been arrested for stone pelting in Aligarh. According to Circle Officer Pankaj Srivastava, these people had gathered to offer prayers in the mosque in Bannadevi, when the police team reached there and started convincing them and tried to remove them. But they started throwing stones at the police.

According to Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Dev Singh, three of the nine patients found in the state have recovered. At the same time, 120 people participating in the program of Tabligi Jamaat of Delhi have been identified and segregated, their samples have been taken and reports are awaiting.
